Windows 10: Is it necessary to backup my computer

Microsoft -- Everytime I startup my computer I get the following popup screen. Do I have to backup my computer? And does that mean that all my files and folders will automatically be transferred to 365 the cloud? And does that mean that whatever storage space I have in 365 will be used up? And does that mean I will have to pay for the storage in the cloud?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

File History Backup Starts and Immediately Stops

I followed the steps listed, and was told that no changes or updates were necessary. I attempted the backup again, and the issue still occurred.

 

Backup necessary?

It will be necessary to backup/save all my files, programs, drivers, etc. before the upgrade to windows 10?
