    Taking that statement literally, it is incorrect. I have, and have had, both Defender and MBAM real time running concurrently, for a long time. Simply do not let MBAM register itself as the primary, and both will run. Also, MBAM suggests to create exclusions for MBAM and Defender, mutually excluding each other. That way, they do not compete by trying to check each other. All is working just fine, and no lags, or slow downs of any kind.
