IS IT NORMAL FOR AN APPLICATION TO OCCUPY ITS FULL SPECIFIED SIZE ON DISK EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT FULLY DOWNLOADED? /BEING DOWNLOADED??AS FAR AS I KNOW IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY AND NOT NORMAL. BUT I AM EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE WITH STEAM APPLICATION.Look at the file size i have downloaded 35.6mb/27.6gb . BUT ON MY DISK THE STEAMFOLDER IS SHOWING -->see the image belowIT IS ALREADY OCCUPYING 35 GB OF DISK SPACE. CAN SOMEONE OR MICROSOFT TEAM PLEASE ADDRESS TO THIS ISSUE. IT IS OF BIG CONCERN.I DELETED THE FILES AND FOLDERS IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKING SCREENSHOTS FOR PROOF BUT I STILL HAVE STEAM APPLICA

Windows Store games occupying hard disk space even after uninstalling

This issue normally happens if something went wrong on the uninstalling process.

We suggest that you perform a Disk Cleanup as your workaround this time.

Please follow the step below:

• Go to File Explorer.
• Click This PC.
• Right click Local Disk.
• Choose Properties.
• Click Disk Cleanup.

Folder size bigger than its Disk Space

Hi,

We are using something called as Filemaker Tool on which we are building our application . And the tool also enables in scheduling the backups. Moreover the backups are not compressed and are placed as normal files only.

I did not tell it is a VM issue .. The tool is running in a VM. And by the way the disk size being 300 GB but the folder size inside it is showing 405 GB. Amazed to see how the space could get occupied more than a disk size..

• On Cortana search, type display settings.
• Choose Display settings from the list.
• Click on Advanced display settings.
• Under Related settings, select on Advanced sizing of text and other items.
• Under Change only the text size, change specific items on your preferred text size then click on
  Apply.
