    Is it normal for my computer to last a bit shorter than usual?


    I have been using my computer since and I noticed changes of my battery seeming to drain a bit fast.I am not sure if its apps doing background activity or unknown activity.I turned off Bluetooth to see if that would help.Those are all the methods I tried currently to see if it would help.

    Any shorter 4850s ?

    I have a palit and a sapphire and the PALIT is a bit shorter than the normal refrence board I believe the ASUS ones are the same.

    Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

    Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

    Do you get any error message?

    This seems to be Compatibility issue of Shorter Oxford English Dictionary. follow the Steps below to install the program in Compatibility Mode.

    Compatibility mode

    Follow the steps below on how to install Shorter Oxford English Dictionary
    in compatibility mode:

    1. Download the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary setup files
    and save it on your local disk.

    2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

    5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

    Also set you screen resolution to recommended settings. Follow the steps below.

    • Type Change the screen resolution.
    • Under Resolution drop down select 1920x1080(recommended).
