  1. Is it normal for the folder security directory to show me as both an administrator and a user?

I was trying to save a file to a folder in the ProgramFilesx86 folder but was told that I need administrator permission... I am the administrator and am the only one with an account on this laptop. I bought and set this laptop up myself. When I went to edit folder permissions under the security tab in folder properties, this came up:As you can see, 'administrator Sayma' has full permissions. When I click on 'user Sayma', I've only got three permissions. Any way I can merge these two or is it meant to be like this?

    :)

  2. Took control of a folder in Vista and now I can't access them in XP

Right-click the folder that you want to take ownership of, and then click Properties.
Click the Security tab, and then click OK on the Security message (if one appears).
Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.
In the Name list, click your user name, or click Administrator if you are logged in as Administrator, or click the Administrators group. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects check box.
Click OK, and then click Yes when you receive the following message:
You do not have permission to read the contents of directory folder name. Do you want to replace the directory permissions with permissions granting you Full Control?
All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.

Note folder name is the name of the folder that you want to take ownership of.
Click OK, and then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.

    Directory Size Utility

First of all nice utility, Mindweaver!
Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

    I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...
    • maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
    • Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
    • maybe you also add export list to excel?
    • there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
    • and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

Is this for Vista or XP? In XP, I don't see a security tab when I right click. Do I have to login in safe mode?
