Basically as the title says.I turned on my computer and was greeted to windows saying it was replacing C: drive afterwards it showed the upgrading windows message after a bit and after a bit more waiting it let me log in.When I logged in I noticed some weird things in Firefox.Things like The browser showed me the pages you see when load it up for the first time despite this and a few other small oddities it was the same.Even though it is a little weird one part of me just want to say this was just window 10 updates doing there thing.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Can't Load Into Windows 10 Normally

Thanks a lot for this suggestion! My PC is up and running now without the Windows PE USB *Biggrin The only thing I changed in your instructions was that I did the partition shrinking from Windows cause I'm more comfortable using the Disk Partition GUI. I gave the EFI partition about 500MB to be safe and then I ran the commands you provided. Worked great!

The only kind of problem I have now is that my boot time is about 20 seconds slower than it used to be. Do you know what could be causing this? I even went into the BIOS and turned on MSI Fast Boot, but it's still slower than before. Most of the additional load time is during the BIOS screen, when I see the spinning windows dots on top of the MSI motherboard BIOS logo screen.

Thanks a lot for all of the help and instructions you've provided! My problem seems to be resolved now, aside from the fact that my boot time is slower than it used to be.
