Is it normal that my pc took so long in restore the system?

Today I decided to restore my pc using the recovery options of windows, everything it’s fine. Just I’m a little concerned that it’s stuck at 61% for more than 2 hours. Is it normal that amount of time or something went wrong already? Btw I can see on the disk activity light that the HDD are being used

    :)

  4. Is it normal that my pc took so long in restore the system?

System restore took over 3 hours

Unable to boot into windows 10 after a failed windows update.

Unsuccessfully tried everything I could find on internet before attempting a system restore.

Set up a system restore and all seemed to be going well. However, one hour passed and I was still watching the green bar move and seeing the same windows is restoring message.

Just about every thread I read suggested it should take 30 to 45 minutes and if it did not work in three hours, it was frozen.

Well, for some odd reason it took my PC over three hours but worked? Cannot tell you how many times I was about to hit the power button, but my patience paid off.

The moral of the story. A system restore can take over 3 hours and restore your PC.

Now I can back up some of the things I never did.
