  1. Is it not possible to integrate non-UWP apps into the Share menu in Windows 10?

Many people often say Windows is to get work done but there are so many instances where Android and iOS offer better workflow and require fewer steps. Moving data between apps is one such area where Windows 7/8/10 absolutely sucks and is far worse than mobile operating systems.

It's practically impossible to send an image/video/document from one app to another in Windows 10 without opening the target app. Microsoft has added the Share option to the right click menu but it doesn't seem to work with anything other than UWP apps. Is there a technical limitation that stops non-UWP apps from appearing in the Share sheet in Windows 10?

It f*****g 2020 but we still can't right click on a file and share it to WhatsApp or Telegram or Evernote in Windows 10? Any third-party software that makes this possible?

Thanks and advance happy new year wishes to everyone.

Remove all UWP built in apps in Windows 1903

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The Windows 10 1903 feature update now lets the users to uninstall a few apps using the
Context menu. If you’re on the latest build of Windows 10, it will let you uninstall a few UWP applications using the
    Context Menu.

Please find the list of apps that can now be uninstalled using the Context menu below:

    • 3D Viewer
    • Calculator
    • Calendar
    • Groove Music
    • Mail
    • Movies & TV
    • Paint 3D
    • Snip & Sketch
    • Sticky Notes
    • Voice Recorder

To know how to uninstall the apps that cannot be uninstalled using the context menu, refer the article
Step-By-Step: Removing Windows 10 Universal Apps via
    PowerShell
    by Anthony Bartolo.

Cortana is an integral part of Windows and she cannot be entirely turned off. However, if you don’t want Cortana functionality available to you on your taskbar, I would suggest you to follow these steps:
    Manage Cortana settings.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

  3. Microsoft Adds Ability to Block Win32 Apps from Install on Windows 10

Yes, UWP is an interpreter, an app running in UWP can't function without the interpreter. Only the UWP core has access to the actual hardware, the app does not.

By not having direct access to the hardware, they perform slower. UWP has to translate everything and make sure it passes safety and security checks.

If UWP has issues, all of the apps running on top of it also will. I've seen that in early release of Windows 10 where all UWP based, Windows-included apps broke (Edge, Calculator, Mail, etc.). Granted, it was only broke in one user account.

Is it not possible to integrate non-UWP apps into the Share menu in Windows 10?

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?
