Is It Possible/Likely to Get a Virus From Simply Previewing an Email?

I got an email earlier from a clear fake/scam email called "Alert!" followed by some random name, saying that my device was infected with 5 viruses and that I needed to get rid of them immediately. I knew it wasn't legit, but I clicked it to see the full email address and what the attachment was, because I used to get frequent annoying McAfee scam mail I don't have McAfee installedthe email wasn't from these McAfee scams, and it instead had a big, awkward image attachment with the Google logo, which said "100% Full Scan Complete- 46 apps scanned, 1 Virus detected" and then had details about

  2. My Email Sending Virus

My email has been sending emails to contact on my list of stuff I obviously didn't send. Most of which do look like virus emails. Not sure what to do. Thanks

    Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
