Windows 10: Is it possible to automate printing on Windows

Hi I am a Linux user.There are times when I need to print things, but I can't ever get printing to work properly on Linux and I can only print on Windows.Because of this, I want to use a windows PC as a print server. Now I know how this works and why I can't directly print from Linux to Windows so I want to use a python script to send the file from the Linux PC to the Windows PC and have it auto print without me having to the go to the Windows PC and make it print.Is there a command or software or some kind of function call that I can use to make Windows print the PDF file as soon as it gets t

Print Job sits in queue and won't print (Canon, Win 10)

Having an incompatible driver could be a possible cause why you are experiencing an issue with printing. To further isolate your concern, we suggest running the automated troubleshooter for printing issues on Windows devices. Visit this
link and then run the following:
Troubleshoot problems with devices and printers and Find and fix problems with printing. These tools can scan and repair damaged printer drivers.

If the same issue persists, clearing the print queue is recommended. To do so, follow these steps:

• Using Search, type Command Prompt.
• From the search results, right-click on Command Prompt and then choose Run as Administrator.
  
• In the Command Prompt window, type the following:
  • net stop spooler and then press the Enter key.
  • del %systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\* /Q and then press the Enter key.
  • net start spooler and then press the Enter key.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
