Windows 10: Is it possible to bypass the 30 day waiting period?

My account was hacked yesterday, and the hacker managed to change the main email. After filling the necessary forms, I managed to get my account back, but the hackers email is still the main one on the account. I tried to change it but it says it will take 30 days to change. Do you guys don't have info history or something? Can I do something to remove the hackers email other than wait for ridiculous 30 days?

30 Day Waiting Period

We moved, and I bought my wife a new Lumia 950. She was prompted to update her security info. She no longer has access to the old email so she indicated that. It blocker her with the well known "30 day waiting period." The period is supposed to end at the
end of January, 2016.

She CAN send/receive email from her computer, but she CANNOT send/receive email from her Lumia 950. It just continues to give her errors saying that she needs to fix her settings, she needs to wait 30 days, etc.

The phone is having all kind of other major issues - won't download anything (possibly because the account issue, random "low storage" errors when there is plenty of storage.

 

replacing invalid security alternative email without waiting the "30-day waiting period"

Hi we need help on the following issue:

1. we have received a sudden message (blue screen) that requests to insert the bitlocker encryption recovery key; we assume (reading a close topic in the community forum) that this happened due an automatic dectation of risk of unathorized access; in fact, we never enabled the bitlocker functionality on the PC. The message declares that we can recover the key accessing the account profile.
   
2. During the access to the profile, we received a second blocking message that declares that to proceed is necessary to have a security code, accessible thru the secondary/alternative security email specified during the account registration. Unfortunately we then realized to have set at that moment an invalid security alternative email (i.e. an email that does not exist due the wrong extension).
   
3. We have then tried to replace the invalid security alternative email with the correct one, and we have received the message that to take effect such change we need to wait the "30-day waiting period", that is a message as follow
   

You can't access this site at the moment

This site requires a security code to sign in. When your security info is updated on 14/08/2024 (Aug-14, 2024), you will be able to access this site.

You can still access sites such as Outlook and Skype that don't require a security code.

The point - unfortunately - is that we cannot access the computer, at all, not only some apps, and we use such computer for urgent matters that cannot wait for a month.

Is anybody able to give instruction to overcome/bypass such "30-day waiting period" thru any kind of procedure that we can follow to demonstrate that we are the authorized owner of such computer and account?
