Windows 10: Is it possible to change the color of the menu bar (File, Edit, etc.)

I've been trying to find a way to change the color of the menu bar for applications (the bar that offers the File, Edit, Help, etc. options):

But I can't seem to find a solution. I followed this guide to make the title bar dark (when both active and inactive), but it makes the menu bar look really out of place when in an application with dark mode.

But you misunderstood my question. I am not talking about file explorer; but every other applications who did not necessarly fully developped their dark themes.

In that case, their windows use the default color for title bar/file menu bar who is apparently white (even in dark theme).

It is possible in options/registry to change default color for title bars or use a custom color. But it doesn't seem to affect the file menu bar (c.f. below if it is not clear enough).





N.B. There is a specific package for atom that addresses that issue. I am not looking for a specific solution; but really how to change the default color for the File Menu bar so it affects all applications that did not provide a full dark theme (if
it is possible)

When activating windows dark mode, the default window color for the Title bar and File Menu bar is unchanged. Applications (like windows' defaults: file explorer, ...) have to provide a dark theme that includes window color modification, or else both title
bar and file menu will appear white (like atom editor without specific package).

I managed to find in windows registry how to modify default Title bar color; but the File Menu bar remains white (c.f. snip below). I will continue searching; but do someone know which registry key to edit in order to change that ? (or simply how)

possible to change color of start menu only

well what I wanted was to have a dark background color but wanted a different color for for my window title bar. I found a way to do this by changing the window title bar instead of trying to change the start menu color:
