  1. Is it possible to change the icons for the Sound Output Devices in Win 11 "Select a sound...

For the active sound out devices, I'd like to change the icons Windows is applying to the devices:Clicking on the "Select a sound output" button shows this list of active audio outputs. These are the icons I want to change to better reflect the diversity of options and have the icons actually aid me for quick selections:Note that one of those shows a headset icon, the other 4 all show generic speaker icons. In contrast, elsewhere in Windows, it's easy to change the icon to anything you want in the old Sound Control Panel applet; Here, I don't see any way to set them, but at least the icons exhi

    :)

  2. Is it possible to play sound through headphones and HDMI output simultaneously?

    Hi David,

I would like to inform that it is not possible to output sound through both the HDMI and the headphone jack simultaneously.

But you can watch video through HDMI and listen via headphone jack.

    Follow the steps below.

    • Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar
    • Left click playback devices
    • Right click HDMI
    • Select Disable.

    Hope this information helps.

    Regards,

  3. The "Select Playback Device" option in the Sound icon doesn't work

    Hi! Thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately I just realized that when "Select Playback Device" doesn't work, right-clicking the sound icon doesn't work either so I can't use this shortcut... I can Win + Q and type sound to open a menu to change the device but... it's a hassle.

Does this happen to me only?

Is it possible to change the icons for the Sound Output Devices in Win 11 "Select a sound...

    No Sound No Output device

Running 19042.746 on a ASUS 2n1 computer. I believe this started 1 or 2 updates ago. I have no sound from the speakers or earphones with "the hardware device is not connected to the computer Code45" and "No output devices found" no pull down for choice. Device manager does not show a sound category unless I show hidden devices. Speaker icon in task tray shows a red "X". SFC /Scannow found some errors, ran 2x, no more errors. problem still exists.
    Appreciate any suggestions.
