Windows 10: Is it possible to check if my PC has M.2 port or not using PowerShell?

HI Experts,Is it possible to check if my PC has M.2 port or not using PowerShell or command prompt. I know there are other ways to check it like 3rd part software's but i only want to use PowerShell or command prompt.

How to clone SATA m.2 drive to NVMe m.2 drive?

It seems you are trying to use the same port. It´s not possible to "upgrade" from M.2 SATA to M. 2 PCIe NVMe, unless the port in the mobo supports *both* protocols (that is, detects the SSD type and connects it to the corresponding bus). Check in the computer documentation.

 

2 RAID Arrays on Z390 chipset (M.2x4 and SATA)

I need to know if this is possible. To have two RAID arrays on a z390 platform. The first being a boot drive composed of two M.2x4 pcie SSDs in RAID 1 and the other being composed of two SATA III SSDs in RAID 0.

The ASRock Z390 Taichi Ultimate appears like it might support this since two of the M.2 ports are pcie style, and if both are used it still leaves two open SATA III ports on the Intel controller.

1. If the M.2 pcie disks are configured in RAID, can I use these two extra SATA III ports for another RAID array?
   
2. If question one is possible, can I use the M.2 array as my boot drive?

Until the BIOS sees your M.2, there's nothing you can do. It does not matter if the M.2 is unformatted/unallocated, the BIOS should see it.

1. Suggest that you take the M.2 out, clean all the contacts and re-seat it and hope this is the case.
2. If step one fails. Connect your 250GB SSD back in using one of the SATA port to see if the BIOS recognize it. If it doen't, then it might be something wrong with the MB, if it does then boot up the Windows Installation USB, run diskpart, shrink it at least 40GB then create a partition, Leave it unallocated then install Windows there.

Also try to re-seat all other components such as Memory, Video card etc...
