Windows 10: Is it possible to completely disable yellow highlighting on the Taskbar?

I'm referring to this.


I was able to turn off the very aggressive flashing a while ago by forgotten means, but I've yet to find a way to disable the pulsing highlight that does not go away when a program opens or wants your attention.


I absolutely hate this, it stresses me out and I can not think or focus on anything else when an icon is pulsing at me in an obnoxious orange/yellow glow - I immediately have to stop whatever I'm doing and click on the program to get the glow to go away.


It's like someone waving their hand in front of my face and saying "Hey!!! hey!! Look over here! Hey don't you wanna look over here???" It drives me f-ing crazy; talking to someone on Discord is a nightmare.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

There are different factors that can contribute as to why a certain feature is not functioning correctly on your computer that is running the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. One possible reason could be that the feature got disabled by mistake. For us
