Windows 10: Is it possible to fix the annoying red x on OneDrive's icon?

I have just started using OneDrive and I like it, but I hate that red x. It is alerting me, that the Personal Vault is locked. Well duh, it is supposed to be, all files are already synced. Can I get rid of it or is it permanent?

It's an issue that can occur depending on several factors, but I'd try the steps outlined here first: Windows shows
red “X” on network icon, but I'm connected

There is a red x on the Network icon. My internet is connected but the red x is always there and annoying.

I was able to resolve this by following the steps below

Suggestions:

Method 1:

Right Click on Computer -> Manage

Under the System Tools section, double click on Local Users and Groups

Click Groups -> Right Click on Administrators -> Add to group -> Add -> Advanced -> Find now -> Double Click on Local Service -> Click Ok

Close all the windows, reboot the computer and check the status



Method 2:

Click Start -> Type CMD -> Right click on CMD -> Run as administrator
Type net localgroup Administrators /add Local Service and press Enter
Click OK when it says The Command Completed Successfully
Reboot the computer and check the status

to fix this issue, assuming that you are OneDrive storage is not full, click on the OneDrive cloud icon in the lower right of the taskbar near the clock. This will open the OneDrive activity Center. On the lower right corner of the activity center window click
on more. Then click on settings. now go to the account Tab and click unlink this PC.

reboot the computer and type OneDrive into the windows search bar to open OneDrive and log back in. Synchronization should resume normally now
