Windows 10: Is it possible to get 2 bad computers back to back?

Please bear with me because I don't know anything about computers so bear with me as I try to explain. I bought an HP Pavilion 45 days ago. All was sun and roses until it wasn't. It quit connecting to wifi. Would say there was no wifi available but my phone would find many. Was able to find out that the wifi adapter on the hard drive was defective so I took it back. Gun shy of the bad reviews on Pavilion I decide to go with an HP Envy. I am 5 days into this new one and suddenly, no wifi, can't find wifi. Even the little blue square that you click on to look at available networks is gone. And t

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:
