    Is it possible to disable the touch screen of a Acer Aspire V5 with out logging in?

    I just broke the screen on my Acer V5 laptop and the touch screen is constantly 'tapping' so I can't log in. Is is possible to disable the touch without logging in. The laptop has all my Uni assignments and I haven't back up. Please can anyone help me

    Hi Josbeph,

    I was curious and found THIS. I only briefed it, so I'm not certain if it works with the 'lock screen' image or not, however there is some info about the "Smart Screen." I did read something about using your own images "at regular intervals," which I kow is not what you were looking for, but I did not read through everything. It's also for Win-8.1, but I would suspect if it has that option, then Win-10 might as well.

    It mentioned THIS program to help.

    You actually have to disable the Lock Screen. There is Windows 10 Login Background Changer. The lock screen is not needed for home use. It is just one extra step that you can turn off.
