  1. Is it possible to just not have Recall on my computer

Hi, I have the alienware computer it’s a model that is relatively new but not the one announced this may. I don’t feel comfortable with Co-Pilot or Recall, and I would want to know for peace of mind if this product has the option of disabling it or completely getting rid of it from my system. I know there is an option to temporarily stop recording it or have it not save screenshots but I still don’t feel comfortable having it on my system and I would like to have the option to uninstall/delete it. While it is saved locally and it is encrypted on the system I just have issues and how it possibl

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  3. is it possible to hand build a motherboard?

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:

Thank you Robert. I found a suggested fix that had me change the registry. I followed the steps listed and that corrected the problem. I can now live with the computer. Unfortunately, I do not recall all the steps or the value I changed.
