    For apps like Disk Management, Control Panel applets e.g., Sound, and others that don't show a "Pin to Start" option, is there a way to pin them to Start anyway? For example, note that Disk Management has only an Open option, missing the typical Pin to Start and Pin to Taskbar options:My current work-around: I see I can find these files be searching the drive e.g., Disk Managment is at C:\Windows\WinSxS\wow64_microsoft-windows-diskmanagement_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.22621.1_none_6d822bbd97dc319a, right-drag to create a shortcut to it on my Desktop, then right click on that and choose "Pin to

  2. Windows 11 pin to start

    Hi

    Everything I pin to start (App or folder) will only show in the start menu "Pinned" of Windows 11 after reboot.

    If I don't reboot it won't be pinned.

    What am I doing wrong?

    I just typed gpedit.msc into the search box and when it showed in the results
    rightclick/ pin to start
