Windows 10: Is it possible to play groove music (i.e. Windows 10) from a different hard disk?

Hello I have a lot of music, but I don't want to put it on the harddisk C because it would be too much. That's why my music is on hard disk D, but I can't listen to the music in a loop like in a playlist, I have to do everything myself, which means I have to take the folder and then click on every single one that I can listen to.

I know pretty badly explained what I mean, but I don't really know how I could explain it ^^ Anyway, I want to play my music from hard disk D with the music player "Groove-Music" or play another program without me having to select the music again, that it just keeps on playing like a playlist on Yt, they play from song to song ^^

Or do you have a recommendation for music players ? (free for my own songs)

Groove Music Unable to Play Music

We'll try a different approach, we suggest that you reinstall Groove Music and see if it has the same issue. Follow the steps below on how to remove and reinstall Groove Music:

• Open Start menu, search for "PowerShell"
• Right-click the PowerShell shortcut and select "Run as administrator". Agree to the UAC prompt.
• Type/Copy paste Get-AppxPackage *zunemusic* | Remove-AppxPackage.
• Once that Groove Music has been uninstalled, launch Windows 10 Store.
• Type/Search for Groove Music and install.

Groove Music


My Groove music suddenly stopped playing files when I doubleclick on them (groove music launches but is blank). I can use a different player but I have to click into that player as Groove Music is my default. I am reorganizing all of my music (tens of thousands of files) and this won't work for me.
Any suggestions?
I have Windows 10 on a PC.
I found an online troubleshooting that suggesting I delete temporary files and reset Internet explorer which I did and which has not helped.

Groove stops playing abruptly

Groove occasionally stops playing a few seconds into a song when I double click a new track in Windows Explorer and an existing track is already playing.

Steps to reproduce

• Open the Music folder
• Double-click a track
• With the track still playing, select a different track from Windows Explorer
• Repeat a few times letting the track play for a few seconds before selecting another
• On occasion Groove will stop playing a track that has already started
