Windows 10: Is it possible to recover or use my WINDOWS 11 PRO OEM product key again?

August 4, 2024I bought a WINDOWS 11 PRO OEM product key cause the computer store I bought most of my parts from didn't want to do a proper diagnose for my computer if I don't have a windows license activated in my computer. fast forward after the diagnose they said they could not find the faulty hardware within my computer and just replaced my graphics card with a new one but the same modelI suspected the faulty hardware was the motherboard but they were not able to replace it as its bought bundled with the processors, but after picking up my computer when I got home my computer's problem

Incorrect. The OEM Windows 10 Pro key is embedded in the bios. There was no need to buy anything....

I recently purchased a laptop that has an OEM version of Win 10 Home on it.

I verified this by using : slmgr -dli.

Previously I had purchased an OEM Win 10 Pro Key.

Can I use this OEM Win 10 Pro Key to upgrade the OEM Win 10 Home to the OEM Win 10 Pro.

If so what are the steps to accomplish this?

In addition, I assume that is this is possible, that the current product key will be updated to the new product key?

The reason I am asking this is that it's my understanding that these product keys are tied to the bios on a name brand laptop.
