  1. Is it possible to repair the App Repository using Windows Recovery Environment or similar...

Hello, for the past few weeks I have been encountering the error code 0x80073CFE when trying to download or update apps from the Windows Store. I am on Windows 10 Home edition version10.0.19045 Build 19045. I'm not sure when this issue originated, as I do not typically use the app store, however when trying to run the Xbox App I noticed it required an update to use, which led to my discovery of this error. The code means that there is some sort of corruption within the App Repository located at "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository"I have gone through the troubleshooting provided in

    Windows Recovery Environment

    Hi,

As per your concern, Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) is a recovery environment that can repair common causes of unbootable operating systems. Setting up a security permission to access WinRE is not possible as it is a way to access computer especially
if you have issues trying to get in to the system.

However, you have a great idea. If you want that feature to be available, you can share your comments and suggestions on our
Windows Feedback hub to help us improve our services. Simply type
Windows Feedback on the Start menu.

Should you have further questions, feel free to get back to us.
