Windows 10: Is it possible to retrieve my files after my laptop was wiped?

My laptop computer was updated, and I didn't have my files backed up; they were only located on my desktop.

My laptop decided to completely loose windows my laptop sees no OS at all I'm buying windows disc to re install but there are files on the HDD that I wish to retrieve please tell me how in step by step

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

W10 wiped my son's laptop
