Windows 10: Is it possible to save the file explorers checkbox selections?

I have a large collection of files: videos, movies, music, apps, backup images, data files, ratings, etc all on NAS.It is convenient to be able to use the file explorer checkbox feature for presenting, moving, copying ie: selecting certain files. The items can be "Saved as path" where I can review what I had selected but that is not as convenient as looking at a checklist. Is there a way to simply save the checkbox status? That way I can easily review the selection and add or remove checkbox selections and can use the sort and search functions of the file explorer to get a different "view"
