as the title, is there a way to "upscale" screenshots from windows 10 tool without changing the actual resolution of the desktop, a feature like this one in Overwatch:

You can take 4k+ resolution screenshots in game. (Steps Inside)

    Highlight

All credit goes to /u/try4ce ...go check out his post for some sick wallpapers.

Simply go into options in game and click on the + sign by Advanced under Graphics Quality.

Scroll down to Screenshot Quality and set to your desired resolution. (NOTE these files get big quickly. 3x is probably all you will typically need)

Screenshots can be found under Documents > Overwatch > ScreenShots > Overwatch

Press Alt+Z in game to hide your HUD for better shots.

And there ya have it folks! --Happy gaming--

Won't set to a higher resolution

OK, on your new system is the correct Display driver loaded, go to Control Panel - Device Manager and make sure that you are not running the Microsoft Basic Display Driver.

If the correct Display Driver is loaded, right click your Desktop, choose Display Settings and see if your resolution is set to the one marked (recommended)

If your resolution is set to the one marked (recommended), then I have some questions:

    • Does your new Computer GPU support higher resolutions
    • What size is the monitor you are using
    • In the control panel of your GPU can you choose to set a custom resolution

Setting Display Resolution selectively: Possible ?

    Hello,

I have a program that shows an "active" screen.
With my eyesight these days, a bit of a problem in reading it, due to its size.

Came across a good suggestion that to make it appear larger, to lower the display resolution.

Question: is this possible selectively, just for this one program and the higher
resolution would remain for all the other programs, or it's a Global setting, an all-or-nothing ?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
(There are no "handles," etc. to drag the display that is showing larger)

    Thanks,
    Bob
