Windows 10: Is it possible to test the NFC function of android app via external smart card reader in...

My Android App provides the NFC read/write function. If I install this app in Windows subsystem for Android, it is possible to test the NFC function by connecting a smartcard reader?

PIV Smart Card Reader

Hi All,

I am running Windows 10 Pro 64bit 1909 and 2004.
I am tasked with trying to figure out how to a PIV Reader on my physical PC and then VPN\remote into another network PC , and have that PIV Card reader be functional on the remote session.

I have gone into remote desktop connection and check smart cards, also ports and it doesn't work.
I need the PIV reader to show up, so I can insert the PIV card and gain access to a resource on another network.
I can do it, if I go to the remote PC Physically but that is not in the plans to go there everyday.

Any ideas?
Most articles I read I have not found anything relevant.

Future Surface with NFC

I wonder if in the future will future Surface and other Microsoft devices have NFC? I rather have NFC integrated in a Surface device to read and write tags such as MIFARE DESFire EV1 (I.e. Oyster cards, T-money cards, etc.) and FeliCa (I.e. Octopus cards,
Suica cards, etc.) along with initiating various tasks such as pairing Bluetooth devices. Also, I would like to see developers make CP (Card Present) as an option for online payments when making payments with an NFC card (I.e. EMV credit/debit contactless
cards, Octopus cards, etc.), barcode card, QR code card, etc. alongside with CNP (Card Not Present) for cards without NFC capabilities (including no barcode, QR code, etc.) and direct payments from mobile wallet apps and payment sites such as PayPal. Users
with a dedicated card reader (such as a smart card contact chip reader, Octopus PC Reader (Octopus PC Reader Service),
etc.) can also perform CP transactions but with greater flexibility for inputing card data. Octopus has an Android app that can perform online payments allowing users to scan a QR code and tap their Octopus card on their NFC Android phone. (Online Payment)
In addition, I would like to see CP be used when inquiring the tapped/scanned card.
