Windows 10: Is it possible to turn off the automatic photo enhancement in the Photos app ? It does not...

Please add the option back to disable it! As an avid photographer, I am forced to move away from Microsoft Windows to have a good photo experience.

Hello Jana,

To turn off the auto-enhance feature of the Photos app, follow these steps:

• Click Start and type Photos then hit
  Enter.
• On the lower left side panel, click Settings.
• Under Automatically enhance my photos, just move the slider to
  Off.

Photos App Automatically Enhances Photos for Viewing

You should be able to turn off the automatic enhancing.

Go to the photos app then hit the 3 dots button and then settings > viewing and editing settings > turn off Automatically enhance my photos.

Does this work?

You will have to download a 3rd party program to use something other than "Photos"

Thanks for responding. That option is not available in Win10 Pro. From what I understand, they have done away with that. Believe me, that is the first thing I checked.
