Windows 10: Is it possible to upgrade the recovery image of windows?

Dear Team,


Hope you people are find and enjoying good health. I have purchased my laptop with windows 10 build1803. As now 1809 is released and if i restore my laptop to factory settings it goes to 1803 from 1809. Is it possible if i can update my recovery partition image to 1809 so that whenevery i restore my laptop to factory settings i will windows 10 1809 by default?

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

 

Lost Recovery Image

I'm not real sure what you are calling a "Recovery Image"...

An actual Recovery Image made by windows would be called "WindowsImageBackup" and would not be listed in Disk management, but in a folder on the destination drive you selected..

Are you possibly talking about the preinstalled software recovery furnished by the manufacturer (Acer) ? That sometimes gets deleted when Windows upgrades to a new build... Especially when going from Win 8\8.1 to Win 10...

It is possible that a upgrade resized your ESP and Recovery partitions as well, but what usually happens is that you end up with MORE Recovery partitions, not the existing one getting smaller...

It IS a bit strange that the ESP got that much larger though... I have never seen that happen before...

 

How to use the stock recovery partition to create a Windows image in BIOS.

Hi guys.
I have a laptop computer with only a recovery partition (Operating System -Win7HP- has been wiped out). My question is instead of installing a fresh copy of Windows, I was wondering if there is a way to compress or copy the factory recovery partition into an .iso image file and use a Windows recovery tool to re-image the HD with the result image. Any help would be very much appreciated.
