Hi Isaac. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

Please post a screenshot of Disk Management, which I read like a doctor reads X-rays. Follow the steps here so I can see everything needed to advise you: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/foru...

Did you have a Dual Boot at any time? Did you notice when this boot listing appeared, and what was done just before that? An Upgrade? Boot repair?

Based on the results you reply back with, I may have other steps to try. Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.

You use bcdedit to set the values needed. In my case, the EFI system partition is partition=\Device\HarddiskVolume1 so yours may be different.

The device and osdevice in the Windows Boot loader are as shown, partition=C:

If you don't have any experience with bcdedit commands, there are help commands built in, such as bcdedit /set /?. But when you set a value, you need to select the correct section, then the correct entry. Examples are in the help listing. There is also a note regarding VHD operations.

Right now I am trying to confirm how to verify the HardDiskVolume number for the Boot manager. Maybe Greg would know for sure how to determine that number. If he doesn't know, give me some time, upgrading to Win 11 may have changed some things on my system.

The situation of your bcd listing is showing the device as Unknown is not good. You need to fix that and enter that info. Maybe mine will let you see what it should look like. The other entry should be removable, which is what I think Greg mentioned.
