Windows 10: is it safe to force dismount on c drive?

Discus and support is it safe to force dismount on c drive? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; So basically i am trying to recover my pc from critical process died at startup and i wanna run chkdsk c: /f but i'm not sure if it's safe to do it....
