Windows 10: Is it safe to increase VRAM from either BIOS or registry editor?

I've been thinking about upgrading my vram in my laptop and i found out that it is not possible to do so by the same way we do with physical rams. Then i found out about this increasing dedicated vram from BIOS or registry editor. I watched few videos about this and turns out it is really easy to do so, but I do know that it is not wise to mess around the BIOS as this will ruin the whole computer Happened to me once, but that's a different story, lol. Therefore i need some opinions about this. Is it really okay to change the dedicated VRAM? What are the risks? will it affect my laptop's perf

Increasing dedicated vram

Hi I wanted to increase the vram on my laptop Intel (r) Xe Graphics tried going to the bios to increase didn't see the option tried from registry didn't work either and I have 8gb of ram

 

VRAM in Intel HD Graphics 3000 (lenovo Ideapad Z370)

My graphic driver only gives me 32 MB out of 1664 MB of VRAM.





Is there any way to increase my VRAM.

Except the things that I've tried :

• Used BIOS(nothing there about VRAM)
• Tried Registry Editor

 

Increase VRAM

i am currently using pc have vram memory is 256 mb ,, my pc have 3gb RAM can i increase the VRAM 256 to 512?? HOW?
