  1. Is it safe to reboot?

So recently I've been messing about on my laptop PC Acer Aspire 5741G, Windows 11 Pro build 22621, x64 and was thinking of installing Bliss OS on it as it's on it's last legs and I want to give it something easier to handle. I set a password for the BIOS a while ago and forgot it. It's currently set to Legacy-GPT. The option to boot from one of my USBs has vanished, so I can't install it directly from the USB. The next best option is to use an installer from within Windows. 2 of the 3 the installers I found required UEFI and the one that doesn't was last updated in 2013. I recently used the

  2. Rebooting into Safe Mode with Networking sees no available networks

I'm trying to reboot the system into the Safe Mode with Networking (option 5). However, while regular mode is connected to the network the Safe Mode doesn't connect and doesn't give any available network list.

    Any suggestions?

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

    • Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
      Enter.
    • Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
    • Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

  4. Is it safe to reboot?

    New FF - passwords

    Hi:

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode | Firefox Help

    • Please report back and let us know the outcome, as it will dictate the next steps.
    • Also: please tell us what AV/AM/firewall programs are you running on this system?

    Thanks,
    MM
