  1. Is it safe to uninstall my GPU in device manager when it is having problems?

I am on Windows 11 laptop, my GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and that gpu is having problems. The error code is code 43 heres the error messageWindows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43I have tried checking for updates but there are none. I looked online for a fix and the first result is to uninstall and reinstall the device from the device manager. If I uninstall my GPU from device manager then reinstall it will there be problems?

    :)

    GPU missing from device manager

    Hi Komet22_

If you go to Device Manager and expand the Display Adapters section, what device(s) are listed there, do you have Intel HD/UHD graphics there?

Click the link below to download DDU, run that and see if if finds and uninstalls your GPU

explorer.exe will not run other than in safe mode

    MS suggests:
Once your PC is in Safe Mode, reinstall your display adapter driver.

    • Type device manager into the search box on the taskbar, and then select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display adapter.
    • Right-click the display adapter and select Uninstall > OK.
    • Restart your PC.

Is it safe to uninstall my GPU in device manager when it is having problems?

guys need help here blank device manager

I uninstalled my x800xt and put in a new 9800gtx. The drivers for the gtx won't install competely and my device manager is Blank. I have tried this and it does work http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1051715405 and I tried a disk scan ,used driver sweep and still my card won't install and windows has nothing listed in the device manager , even in safe mode. The ATi driver caused this but I cannot figure out how to fix it. I tried to put the x800xt back in but the ATi drivers won't install right. Help
