  1. Is it safe to update my drivers via Avast Antivirus installed on my PC?

I have been using free Avast Antivirus for protection against viruses, for almost 3 years. But I am planning to buy a premium subscription, given it appears to be having cool features now, such as a driver updater, webcam protection etc. What I am concerned with, is the driver updater feature. Before I got to know about the antivirus driver updater feature, I always went to Bing to search for the latest version of my drivers that I find to be outdated. In almost all of my search attempts, I have been greeted with the warning to never update drivers from a third-party source and always do it fro

  2. How to uninstall Avast Antivirus if it does not show in the list of apps on the PC

I have Windows 10 Pro N, version 1803. For the last few days Windows is trying to install an update, but states the following: Uninstall Avast Antivirus now because it is not compatible with Windows 10. If I follow the steps: Settings > Apps and Features
; Avast does not show in the list of apps. I searched for it on my PC and found it on one of the drives. I tried to delete it, but the message still comes up, and therefore my Windows update cannot be completed. How do I get rid of Avast Antivirus?

  4. Is it safe to update my drivers via Avast Antivirus installed on my PC?

    Is Avast a safe Antivirus?

I recently found a free antivirus software called Avast. I'm just wondering if it is safe to install and if it is worth it.

If you can, please answer ASAP. My McAfee is running out.

I have seen other users encounter BSoD(STOP) errors and viruses that made its way onto the PC.

My PC is a Dell Inspiron 11 Series 3000. I have no malware or any history of malware(after a reset). I do have an active firewall at the moment(McAfee), but it will run out in a month.

    Thanks!
