Is Microsoft Aware that the Calendar portion of the Mail/Calendar App "Search" Function...

I've been pleading for help with this and now others are starting to as well. Is MS aware of the fact that their "windows store app" mail and calendar app - CALENDAR part only search function stopped working a month ago? This is not a sync issue. The calendar events are syncing in real time with Outlook.com, which then syncs in real time with my phone - and, I can search my events/appts, etc., if logged into outlook.com and from my phone, but the app is wear the event/appointment was created and what I utilize and keep open 24 hours a day.

There is no windows app store support, MS doesn't support apps and this is a MS app that a large amount of people use that suddenly has a not only broken feature, but a critical feature.

Again, this is not a sync issue, everything is syncing perfectly - the "search" portion of the calendar part of the mail/calendar app allows you to type in what you're searching for, then click look/find, but then gives results saying "not able to search, try again later." This is a critical part of this app, looking for events in the past as well in the future, without it it's a terrible impact on my daily and in general, life function, I utilize it for everything.

Now knowing that it's not just me with this issue, with advisors who either didn't understand the problem and assuming it was a sync issue which it's not it's a broken feature in the app and/or providing links for support that have nothing at all to do with what it is I'm reporting and others are now starting to report, where are we, users and many paying users for various MS products supposed to get help and have this resolved?

Additionally, just as a side note, is there a reason that under "category" when posting a question there is no windows or MS app option? If you're experiencing non-working or broken features in your app, how are you supposed to report it when there's no category for a windows store app or MS app? We need help, we need this resolved, but first we need it acknowledge and it's impossible ensuring that it's getting in front of the right eyes if there's no category to post these questions under for "windows apps, MS store apps, or apps."

    :)

    Mail & Calendar App

By default, M&C app will install an outlook account according to your sign in. I sign into W10 with a non MS account "---@gmail.com" so my default account is listed like this, I can't seem to straighten it out/ delete/change it. Suggestions appreciated.

Mail and Calendar app won't launch

ok this works. There must have been an update as the install file has changed from under 179 mb to 180 mb:

1.Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.

2.Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

3.Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and calendar app.

    get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

After performing the above steps, install the Mail and calendar app form the Windows store.

Mail and Calendar app won't launch

THANKS man. For me both mail and calendar were bust, they would open for about 3 second then crash.

I followed your powershell command, but it still said product installed!
Restarted - still said product installed.
Went to windows store online as opposed to the store app - and is said "FREE"
    Clicked FREE and it downloaded.
Now both mail and calendar have opened and seem fully functional.

One other thing, prior to all of this I had switched my windows user account to a local account (and restarted) in user settings.
