Windows 10: Is Microsoft Defender remove the malicius code?

I am trying to Remove malicious code from my affected website infozone24.com. Is it removing only malicious files without delete any data? or delete the full file?

• Type “sfc /scannow” without quotes and hit
  Enter.

Now check for the issue.
