    Motherboard or RAM

Sounds like the board doesn't like to use an XMP with that RAM.

Running the RAM at the default frequency may be better than unreliable operation at its rated frequency.

You may be able to improve matters by manually setting the voltage and timings, especially if the motherboard is fussy when all 8 DIMM slots are filled.

Just curious: is the RAM on the QVL for the board, for 8 DIMMs? (Not being on the list doesn't suggest a problem, but listed RAM should have no trouble.)

Sorry that I can't offer more solid receommendations. I used to run a P9X79 Pro (with 4 DIMMs), but retired it a few years ago. (My hobby is assembling my own PCs, rather than doing useful work with them.)

Daily BSOD. Trying to Determine if Bad RAM, SSD, Motherboard, or Other

Here's a link to the .zip from the "Tuneup_plus_log.bat" script I'll run the disk check for C tonight and update you.
I'm actually having some confusion from the ASUS website in finding the right QVL list as they give multiple PDF's to look at.. Which PDF should I be looking at? Alternately this website shows my RAM is on the QVL for the Matisse family of AMD processors that mine is apart of, or is the QVL for RAM more concerned with motherboard model? I've had these sticks of RAM since 2020 and never had issues with them until the past month. If RAM isn't on the QVL list in what form do issues show themselves and does it normally take 2 years? Processor is a AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and RAM is G.Skill TridentZ RGB F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC.

Is Microsoft pay for my damage ram or motherboard? Because of new update

Why won't Windows 10 let me boot with new RAM?

    First, some remarks :

    1. According to your motherboard manual, to install four DIMMs,
all four need to be identical. So the most that is recommended with yours
is to use the two 4GB sticks,
while the 2GB ones are unusable together with the others.
    2. For using two DIMMs, they need to be installed in the white slots.
    3. Linux may be cleverer than Windows in forcing the usage of DIMM
sticks that do not exactly conform to the specification.
    4. You have bought high-quality modern DIMMs for a motherboard dating
apparently from 2010. They may just be too good for the motherboard.

Based on the above, I have the following suggestions :

    1. Restore the configuration of RAM to the one that worked,
boot Windows 10, start Windows Update and fully patch the computer.
Especially pay attention to device-driver updates that are usually found
as Optional. There is no point in using the ASRock drivers,
      since they date from 2010.
    2. Download and install the Crucial System Scanner.
Let it scan your computer and see which DIMMs it recommends and
      pay attention to their specs.
Crucial is a RAM vendor, and their utility does an excellent job
      of analyzing the motherboard.

I believe that the results of the scan by Crucial will solve the problem.
Their prices are also very reasonable and one can order from the scanner,
    whose results Crucial guarantees.
You could post the scan results, if you wish us to have a look.
