  2. Can't "Link to Wndows"

Thanks so much. I will certainly follow your tutorial in the future. I think resetting did the trick, and I was also able to set a pin code. Question. I am confused about one ongoing step: "Go to www.aka.ms/addComputer" in your browser." A search for this, and other similar url's suggested in the Phone LInk setup always ends up the same way, with a trip to nowhere.

Clicking in those types of links end up in a blank tab

  3. Phone link - clicking action in Actionable Notifications

    Hello, David Kennedy3

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the Phone Link app and your Motorola Razr+. I did some tests and found some methods for you.

One thing you can try is to update both the Phone Link app on your PC and the Link to Windows app on your phone. Sometimes, outdated versions of these apps can cause compatibility issues and prevent the actions from working properly.

    • You can check for updates in the Phone Link app by opening Settings > About > Check for updates.
    • You can also check for updates in the Link to Windows app on your phone by going to Settings > Check for updates, or by going to Details > “…” (More) > About Link to Windows.
Another thing you can try is to reset the Phone Link app on your PC. This will clear the app’s data and cache, which might fix some glitches or bugs. To reset the Phone Link app, follow these steps:

    1. On your PC, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
    2. Find Phone Link in the list of apps and select it.
    3. Click Advanced options.
    4. Click Reset.
    5. Restart your PC and try again.
Get more details of Troubleshooting from this article: -<Troubleshooting the Phone Link app - Microsoft Support>

If none of these steps work, you can also try to unlink and relink your phone and PC. This will refresh the connection between the devices and might solve the problem. To unlink and relink your phone and PC, follow these steps

    1. On your PC, open the Phone Link app and click Settings.
    2. Click the ellipsis in My Devices to delete your phone
    3. Follow the instructions on both devices to link them again.
I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue. If you still have problems, this could be the specific version's error, You can wait patiently for the next update fix, Microsoft attaches great importance to user experience, you can submit your issues and suggestions through the Feedback Hub, and the development team will regularly review submissions for ideas or fixes.

Please share the feedback link here after submitting as it will allow others on the forum to vote for your submission, including me. More votes will lead to more visibility and higher priority to the development team.
