I would like to harden a fleet of client PCs running Microsoft Windows 10 version 22H2 using its corresponding security compliance baseline and toolkit that was provided on Microsoft website and I would like to know if the microsoft-published security baseline for Windows 10 version 22H2 to use for OS hardening is compliant with CIS and NIS frameworks and security best practices. Would really appreciate to get insights from a rightful community member. Thank you.

    Win10 and NIST 800-171 compliance

I am trying to find out if Windows 10 can be made compatible with the requirements listed within NIST 800-171 Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations.

I have been told by IT staff that Win10 cannot be made compatible or used in a NIST 800-171 cyber security compliant setting.

    thanks for the help!!
