Is Microsoft selling our personal PC power to the military / DOD?

With Windows 10's constant, never ending F-ups in the form of "forced updates" which I refer to as hijackings (as that's what they are) it obvious Microsoft doesn't care about producing a professional, functional or reliable OS anymore. They care about ads and hijacking our personal computers 25% of the time; which is the least amount of time you can set as not your own "Active Hours" thereby effectively giving windows "Active Control" over your PC 25% of the time, if they want it.

This hijacking of our PC's hasn't helped Microsoft build a stable OS & they didn't need to do this with Windows 7 yet it was stable, all these forced updates / hijackings seem to do is create more and more problems. It kind of makes you wonder what they're really up-to with these constant forced updates which fix nothing. When you think about it Microsoft now has access to 25% of the computational power of ALL personal computers running windows 10 - that's a WHOLE LOT OF CLOUD COMPUTER POWER...I wonder what they're going to do with that? Why would they ruin so much customer good will and so many PC's in the process with these "updates" that don't actually fix anything? What are they planning on doing with our PC's 25% of the time? Maybe it has something to do with the fact Microsoft literally just beat Amazon to win a contract to provide cloud storage to the US military and DOD to help plan and strategize wars and virtual conflicts - It all makes sense now, this is the only thing that could possibly explain their seemingly sheer incompetence, it would appear to Microsoft that temporary massive gains from the US military supersedes retaining customers or even the appearance of producing professional, secure software.

Sure its just a theory but it does help to explain Microsoft's sudden incompetence when it comes to building a stable OS combined with their willingness to participate in what seems like the criminal practice of hijacking our personal property 25% of the time, it does feel like they don't care at all what their customers think anymore and are content in losing the 20%, or so, of us that are actually paying attention to whats going on and who understand the value of controlling own PC's / property.

    :)

Microsoft on Technology and the US military

we’ve worked with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) on a longstanding and reliable basis for four decades. You’ll find Microsoft technology throughout the American military, helping power its front office, field operations, bases, ships, aircraft and training facilities. We are proud of this relationship, as we are of the many military veterans we employ.

I believe this would have been Windows 7, certainly not 10. I can't imagine the military or NASA using Windows 10, certainly not in my lifetime.
