Call me a dumb, call me conspiracy nut, but I remember, with nostalgia, the times when we bought and played new games on Windows 7 with only change needed in the graphics settings to be a "game resolution".

Now things have changed a "bit". You go into the graphic settings and see how the change from ULTRA to LOW, or from 1920x1080 to 640x480 pixels it has almost no effect on the performance of modern games. And if this can logically be explained by and trace back to the greed of graphics card manufacturers who want to wean us off from our harmful habit to them to not need to updating our graphic hardware - then a new trend has been noticed recently :

After each new update of Microsoft's Windows 10 games productivity on PC to be reduced by almost half AND which is more important, Microsoft is doing everything possible to bury already discovered solutions to deal with this problem as changes the locations of their options and makes them harder for users to find and turn them off - and also by trying to change how Windows 10 use Registry on first place so that no one can shut down or disrupt the operation of their spyware and those programs with marketing significance for future Microsoft plans.

    Simply put :

"What Microsoft wants from you as PC gamer?"

    The answer is:

"What Microsoft wants from PC gamers is that they to stop playing on their own PC and to transfer to Microsoft xCloud in near future."

It's no coincidence that your computer's performance issues follow after almost every new major Windows 10 update, often has a name close to "XBox" Is Microsoft trying to spoil the PC gaming industry with carefully thought-out Windows 10... :) as the official name of xCloud - Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming Service.

So it's time to find out one simple thing - You no longer need to spend money on expensive hardware and graphics cards to play games that in half a year you will not be playable because Window 10 will take care of that. You'll just watch other people viciously and stupidly how they played the same games on their phones and xCloud or Stadia - until you can even run them on systems for over $ 5,000.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Microsoft Selects Dolby Audio for Windows 10

it would've been great if microsoft added HEVC decoders, LAV filters along with other codecs with Windows 10, and developing WMP to be better than VLC, KMPlayer and such sorts of media players.

Nevertheless, this is good step for microsoft, by far.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
