Windows 10: Is MS planning to fix Extra Large Icon size?

Apparently MS is closing the option to post new questions as of tomorrow. So I hope I can still get answers from this. Regarding the size of the thumbnail when using Extra Large Icons, I set my display to the recommended 3840x2160 and photo thumbnails are the same size when using Large Icons vs Extra Large Icons. The only difference is that the tile size changes, so the thumbnails are now spread apart more. Currently the only fix is to drop the resolution to 2560x1440 or 1920x1080, with the latter producing larger thumbnails on the screen. Will higher resolution screen sizes ever be fixed in

Photo Icons won't display in Extra Large Size

I'm running Windows 10 Pro with all updates installed.

In File Explorer my icons for photos won't expand to the Extra Large Size.

The Large Size works, but clicking the Extra Large Size, it only expands the white-space between them without actually expanding the size of the photo icon itself.

Thoughts?

The icons might be set to appear in medium or small icons. For you to get extra large icons, follow these steps:

• Open File Explorer.
• Right-click in an empty space and navigate to View > Extra large icons.
