    Is my Keyboard Broken Ctrl Alt + Del does not work to CMD as Admin


    Hi I'm trying to activate logon in windows10 but I cannot get to CMD As Administrator from the Start menu Both Classic or Windows CMD as ADMIN ''Ctrl + Alt + Del does not work, it Shuts down the PC OR if I have the CMD open (I have a Short cut to CMD window but cannot get Admin rights) it the screen becomes Maximum CMD and I cannot get out or back to my desktop? I have tried Forum after Forum but as not one of the options they offer works

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

    The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.

    On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Is my Keyboard Broken Ctrl Alt + Del does not work to CMD as Admin ;)

    Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    Depends on whether you have the Welcome Screen, or the Domain Logon screen at boot up.
