Windows 10: Is my new computer unable to turn off?

I don't know if this is a sofware Win11 problem or a HP computer problem. But I go to Shutdown the computer for the night and when I wake up, the "on" light is blinking. And I go to turn on with the on/off button and the screen I was working in pops up. I don't have to open a browser or software program. Is this a software problem? Or is this a new thing with computers?`

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.

Unable to turn off Fast Start on Samsung computer

I followed the first few steps; ADWCleaner didn't find anything. JRT deleted a couple of tasks and extensions, but nothing related to Fast Start or anything that looks like actual malware. My problem persists!

I don't see any programs listed named Fast Start, or anything else out of place.

I looked up this problem on Microsoft's forums too, and someone mentioned to run (on Admin Command prompt) >sfc/scannow. This is the result:




The problem remains.
