Windows 10: Is My Windows Defender Installation OK?

Hi,A certain Supplier installed on my Windows 10 PC a certain AntiVirus Protection. I decided to cancel the deal with them and uninstalled it. Immediately, I could see Windows Defender on my Windows Update screen and when I chose to install it disappeared.After the installation, it said something about "Protecting your Devi" instead of "Protecting your Device", and it seemed odd to me, but I ran a quick scan that finished very fast and found no threats:Also, Microsoft Windows Defender does not appear on my Apps list:Instead, Windows Security appears, and I don't recall seeing it before:My ques

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion

Windows update and windows defender issues

We suggest you to avoid installing any cleaner or anti-virus software that may interrupt the function of Windows Defender. Make sure that Windows Defender is always on. To do this follow these steps:

• On the Start menu, type Windows Defender and hit enter.
  
• Click Settings.
  
• Turn Real-time protection on.

We also recommend you to install the latest update for Windows Defender.
