Windows 10: Is my windows genuine or cracked??

i went to a store and when my pcwin 7 os was corrupted then that guy said he will install win for Rs. 500/-7$ and it also says it is activated. How can I get win 10 for that cheap??

Windows 7 not genuine problem

It seems like that's an OEM windows copy, it will do that the every time you reinstall the OS. If you have the key, next time you see the "not genuine windows copy" click it and choose to activate by phone, everything else is pretty straight forward as it explains step-by-step. If it doesn't work, then its highly likely that you got a Pirate copy.

should we scan it and then use the cracked?

actuary i m concerned bcoz i hav cracked version so i m thinking should i keep it or install genuine.

Technically there is no difference. The only difference is the legality of it, with a genuine retail license you can transfer it to another PC, with a volume/illegal license the key will eventually be blocked by Microsoft.

The cracked version of Windows may come with malware or spyware.
