  2. Hp simplepass not getting installed on windows 10 Error: AppHelp dialog canceled thus preventing the application from starting

I think it's unprofessional to blame SimplePass when, prior to downloading Windows 10, SimplePass was working just fine. You might have said Windows 10 isn't working with SimplePass which would then mean a) Microsoft should let people know that instead of
blaming HP or b) work with HP to find a solution before releasing a new OS.

Not only that, but AppHelp is a Microsoft product. So no, it is not specific to HP.

I would also be wary of sending links to another forum that also says it has no answers.

But, I am also having the same problem. I have uninstalled/reinstalled both SimplePass and the Validity Sensor drivers. During the reinstall I also get the same message "AppHelp dialog canceled thus preventing
    the application from starting."
