    Is registry key EnableMinimumEncryptionKeySize still applicable for Windows 10 Pro 18362.387?


    Is registry key EnableMinimumEncryptionKeySize still applicable for Windows 10 Pro 18362.387? I added the key after seeing a vendor advisory with a link to a Microsoft article about adding the key to enable the protection against the Bluetooth issue. If still applicable, how can I tell if the key is in effect?

    Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

    Hi Guys,

    1. Is there any way to find the registry key for the default icon of an application in Windows 10? Dell has installed a FreeFall Data Protection application in my machine, which appears in the control panel and I'd like to change the icon for it. However, I do not know the registry key and couldn't find anything on it on the net.

    How do I go about finding the registry keys for an application that's listed in the control panel?

    2. I would also like to change the Quick Access icon in File Explorer, but do not know the registry key for it.

    I just did a deployment last night with a fresh 10 install using the newest ISO and a 7 Pro key, worked like a charm. Glad yours worked for you as well. *Toast :toast:
