    Is removing windows 11 S mode detrimental to my computer configuration?


    I just purchased an HP 11th Gen IntelR CoreTM i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.70 GHz x64 processor with windows 11 in S mode which I need for working remotely once in a while. I need to download other browsers for apps at work but is it true certain apps will not work properly if I get out of S mode or will it be detrimental to my computer?

    Computer going into Safe Mode randomly on it's own.

    Hi Stevie,

    Once in a while the operating system may get corrupted due to some software changes or inappropriate system functions. To resolve such issues, most of the time you might need to deliberately start the computer in the Safe Mode. Let's check
    System Configuration to make sure your computer is not configured to startup in Safe Mode. To do so, kindly follow these steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • Type msconfig. (This will bring up the System Configuration window.)
    • Go to the Boot tab.
    • If selected, remove the tick from Safe boot.
    • Click Apply and then OK.
    • Lastly, restart your computer.

    Update us with the outcome and if you need further assistance.
